The hegemonic culture or cultural hegemony refers to the action of turning a dominant culture in relation to others. Only its leaders can do that by throwing away our primacy. It will lead to the increased balance between the rich and the poor, instability of world economy, deterioration of ecosystem and environment etc. The domination of American culture in the rest of the world has helped McDonalds Corporation in its tremendous growth and consequently McDonalds has strengthened the power of American culture in the world.
